Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how WZC Development LLC (“WZC Development LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with your access to and use of the website located at zizhost.com and the web hosting service made available on subdomains of *.zizbe.com (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

Account information: your email address, chosen username, hashed password, and optional profile details (display name, biography).
Hosting account information: the subdomain you select, the plan associated with your account, and operational status.
Communications: the content of messages you send to us, including abuse reports, support requests, and legal correspondence.
Public content: information you choose to publish through the Service, including forum posts, replies, and material hosted on your assigned subdomain.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Authentication tokens: short-lived session identifiers stored in HTTP-only, secure cookies.
Technical data: IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps, and the URLs you request, retained in server logs for operational and security purposes.
Abuse-prevention signals: form-submission timing, interaction signals, and challenge-response verdicts used to detect automated abuse.
Single sign-on activity: the timestamp at which you authenticate to your hosting panel, used to enforce account-activity requirements set forth in our Terms of Service.

1.3 Cookies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and security. We do not deploy advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so will prevent you from authenticating to the Service.

2. How we use information

We process personal information for the following purposes:

to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
to authenticate Users and secure Accounts against unauthorized access;
to enforce these Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy;
to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, fraud, abuse, and other prohibited activity;
to communicate with you regarding administrative matters, security notices, and material changes to the Service;
to comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from governmental authorities; and
to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

3. Lawful bases for processing (EEA / United Kingdom)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following lawful bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the UK GDPR: (a) performance of the contract between you and WZC Development LLC (Article 6(1)(b)); (b) compliance with our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)); and (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service (Article 6(1)(f)).

4. Disclosures of information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct-marketing purposes. We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: with vendors that process personal information on our behalf for the purposes described in this Policy, including infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, security and abuse-prevention providers, and authentication providers, in each case under written agreements obliging them to maintain confidentiality and use the information only as instructed by us.
Legal requirements: where we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of WZC Development LLC, our Users, or others.
Business transactions: in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or sale of all or any portion of our assets.
With your consent: with your direction or with your authorization for purposes you specify.

5. zizcode and AI assistant

5.1 zizcode project data. Files you create in the zizcode editor are stored on the Service so they persist with your Account. Each save also retains a small number of recent versions of the file (a short revision history) so changes can be rolled back; older versions are pruned automatically.

5.2 AI processing by a third party. When you use the optional AI assistant, your prompts and relevant project content (the file you are working on and, in build mode, files the assistant reads) are transmitted to a third-party generative-AI provider (currently Google) to generate a response. That provider processes the content under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the provider’s independent processing. Do not submit content to the assistant that you are not permitted to disclose to such a processor.

5.3 What we store for AI. We retain your AI conversation history (so it is available when you return), per-month usage counts (such as token totals, to operate allowances and show you usage), and, if you choose to provide your own model-provider API key, that key. You can clear your conversation history and remove your stored key at any time from within the assistant.

5.4 Cost figures are estimates. Any usage or cost amounts we display are approximations for your convenience and are not derived from your provider billing.

6. Public information

Information you choose to publish through the Service, including your username, forum posts, and content hosted on your assigned subdomain, is public and may be viewed, indexed, archived, or copied by third parties. Use discretion before publishing.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your Account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter to satisfy our legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. Specifically:

Account data: retained for the lifetime of the Account.
Hosted files and databases: retained while the Account remains active; following Account termination, residual backup copies (if any) are purged within thirty (30) days.
Server access logs: retained for up to thirty (30) days.
Application and error logs: retained for up to ninety (90) days.
Signup-attempt and abuse logs: retained for up to ninety (90) days.
Moderation and audit records: retained indefinitely as a permanent record of administrative actions.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Without limiting the foregoing, we encrypt traffic in transit using Transport Layer Security, store passwords using industry-standard one-way hashing algorithms, enforce row-level authorization controls at the database layer, and rate-limit sensitive endpoints. No security measure is infallible; we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute security of any information transmitted to or stored by the Service.

9. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and personal information that we collect will be transferred to and processed in the United States or any other jurisdiction in which we or our service providers maintain facilities. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or comparable transfer mechanisms to safeguard cross-border transfers.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to (a) request access to the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion of your information; (d) object to or restrict certain processing; (e) request that we transfer your information to another controller; and (f) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address set forth in Section 14. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Residents of California: under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended (the “CCPA”), you may have additional rights, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information. WZC Development LLC does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13), or under the age of sixteen (16) in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such persons. If we become aware that a person under the relevant age has provided us with personal information, we will delete the relevant Account and information without undue delay. Parents and guardians who believe their child has provided personal information to us may contact us at the address set forth in Section 14.

12. Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties; this Policy applies only to information collected by the Service.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes shall be effective upon posting to the Service, with notice provided on the homepage or via the forum announcements category at our discretion. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Policy.
